Scene: Costa Mesa based The Vintage Wood Floor Company as the Orange County ASID Chapter took to the stage for May’s general meeting. Put together in conjunction with Coast Magazine, and showcasing not only the incredible aged wood that has become the hallmark of the company, the event was a grand way to mix and mingle with representatives from ASID Industry Partners (such as Cadreas, Luxe Magazine and Audiovisions), local design houses and a host of other resources.

We won’t even mention the food. Between the on-the0spot crepe making and the diet breaking, piece of art baked goods, it really became an excersise in trying to figure out just how many uses one could come up with for antique flooring.

Isn’t that the purpose?
